    Ingredients 1 large onion, cut into quarters 3-4 garlic cloves, minced 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into medium cubes 1 large carrot, peeled and cut into large cubes 25 gr. butter Water to cover 1 Tbsp. coarse salt ½ tsp. turmeric powder 1 tsp. chicken flavored broth powder (optional) Preparation Place all ingredients in a pot. Add water to cover the vegetables (no higher). Bring to the boil over a high heat. Reduce to low heat and cook for approximately 1 hour until vegetables are very soft.     Ingredients per cup (double as needed) 240 ml. (1 cup) milk (can be substituted for goat’s-milk/soy/coconut/almond milk, per your personal preference) 20 gr. cornstarch 30 gr. sugar optional: 2-3 drops of rose water cinnamon and nuts to sprinkle Preparation Mix all ingredients in a small pot and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until thickens to desired level (if you don’t stir, lumps will form and the bottom may burn). Pour into cup(s), sprinkle cinnamon and nuts, and serve.

    Potato Latkes

    Ingredients 5 medium potatoes 2 medium onions 2 eggs 3 Tbsp. Tami GF flour (or plain flour) 1 tsp salt optional: black pepper to taste Preparation Peel and grate the potatoes (using a grater or a food processor), and squeeze out all liquid. Peel and quarter the onions. Chop the onions toa pulp in the food processor and squeeze out all liquid. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Heat skillet with ¼” of oil.
