    Cheese Lasgna

This cheese lasagna is really easy to make and hard to stop eating. Last year I made it with milk and Gluten substitutes, and to my surprise it turned out excpetionally well, so I am including those substitutes. You can also replace the milk and cheese with goat or sheeps’ milk products. I personally think the mushrooms make it even better, but if you don’t like them you (or like me, are not allowed to have them), you can skip them, or replace them with grilled vegetables like Zucchini, red peppers, eggplant or yams, or a mixture of them. You can even add a thin layer of great tomato sauce.   Ingredients 1 package Lasagna…

    Cheesecake and Apple Pie

A few years back my sisters-in-law and myself used to go out to a branch of Aroma where we live… For those of you residing outside of Israel, Aroma is a chain of Cafes with mediocre coffee, but excellent salads, sandwiches and baked sweets. Our favorite baked treat was an individual cheese-apple pie… When I really like something I have an overwhelming need to recreate it, so after several trials (and errors) I came up with the following recipe. Not sure how identical it is to the original, but it is SO good, I don’t really care at this stage Tip: If you don’t like apples, or not digging the…

    Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chocolate-Chip Cookies

This is an easy, simple recipe for melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip cookies. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Two forewarnings: (1) Watch them like a hawk as they bake because perfect to burnt is about 1 minute’s difference, and (2) let them cool completely before removing from tin, otherwise they will crumble (but still be deliciously yummy!) It’s important to take them out in time, because in two minutes they get flat (but still scrumptious). Happily, the same day I published this recipe a friend from a gluten-free group I’m a member of made them, and this is what these beauty queens look like when you  take them…
